After earning my Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Nebraska Medical Center for Nursing in Lincoln, I packed my bags and headed for the mountains. I started my career on a cardiology floor where I honed my skills in cardiac rhythms and time management. Later, I joined the float pool and worked on nearly all the units/floors in the hospital for 5 years. This experience has given me a unique perspective on how each floor may view another.

I have been the Team Lead in the Medical, Surgical, and Neuro Intensive care unit in Denver, Colorado. Also, the team leads in Pre-operative services and at the Procedural Center for Nebraska Medicine. With experience in leadership positions, I can comprehend the complexity and expertise required to oversee and organize patient care effectively, while also recognizing the strengths of every nurse.
